1-11-2006 - Encinada

Our 2nd port was Ensenada, Mexico--- the third-largest city in the Mexican state of Baja California.

the port wasn't much to look at!
the city was much bigger then I expected.
 some impressive looking churches

 and a nice size marina.
We sat and ate our Lido breakfast while we waited for the ship to clear.
We did the ship excursion to the Museum of history, a winery, and shopping. Ok excursion, but definitely not worth the price the ship charged!
The museum was pretty.
Other then the colorful store fronts, shopping was rather disappointing, too.
But the buildings had character
as did some of the ceilings
 another
not much of a station for public transportation.
 the winery
Heading back onto our ship.
But, as I said before, entertainment back on the ship was good each night.

Another fun day exploring another place I've never been to before.
