12-8-17 sea day:

Another sea day, another day to explore the ship.  Back up to the Sports Deck  first.
Didn't notice this last time, but there's a shower on the Sports deck!  Wonder if it's ever been used!?
the little walkway between the left and right side of the ship with the weird showers on it!
The lighthouse on level 8 that reassured me that I was going the right way to our room from the forward elevators.
On the Lido deck they were having a sale and massages today.
We decided to go do the FCC booking.  Ended up having to wait over an hour.  Found out they have a reservation sign up, but it was full already.  Would be nice if they let you know you can make reservations earlier in the cruise.  So we had to wait for a walk in appointment between reservations.
More carpet to admire during our hour or so wait.
After we paid our $100@ for future cruise deposit, we headed to the test kitchen again.
love the etched windows of the test kitchen
they do have really nice cooking presentations.
they even stay afterwards and answer questions.
caught the    Inside Earth: Innovation and Ingenuity show on the Lido Poolside screen at 2:30.
I even went to the Tea Dance at 3:15.
It was really nice.  Probably the nicest tea I've been to on a cruise ship---and it's free!
The ship's band even performed at it
and lots of people danced
Near sunset I tried to go to my favorite spot to watch the sun set only to be shooed away.  Wonder how often they clean the track?
So I headed to level 14 and caught another so so sunset.
Found this little lounge area up there on 14. Would be a great place for sunset pictures is the plexiglass wasn't so high.
On to dinner in the Lido---and more of their great soup.
and another great salad.
We usually sat in the same area and we really enjoyed chatting with the manager there---Sutamba.
Went to Billboard to check out the piano music.  They were very good---as were all the musicians.
ON Stage Tonight---One World  (Featuring Koningsdam's Singers and Dancers)  We enjoyed it so much we stayed for both the 7pm and 8:30pm shows.  Here is the cruise director introducing the show.
they didn't say no photographs tonight so I took a couple.   It was very good.
Back in our room, this guy was hanging around.
On the way to the movie, I ran down to the lounges to see what the Chocolate Extravaganza was.  Found lots of servers with lots of interesting treats.

and lots of great music all around.
the servers weren't shy.

Then I went up to the Poolside Movie.  My smart phone said the movie was set in Prague.  I was looking forward to it.  I had been to Prague with Angie years ago and loved it.  Unfortunately they played a different movie.  We stayed and watched it.
I'm beginning to appreciate sea days more and more.  I guess I'm getting old enough that I enjoy resting for a day or 2 after a few ports in a row.

Lots of "O" activities today:
Just Breathe  bright and early;
Supersoul 100: Angela Davis (international fitness evangelist, world-class athlete and motivational coach Angela Davis believes that all change has a mental, emotional, and spiritual origin, and must come from within. )
Love That (Learn the essential pieces every woman needs for travel at this special style presentation created by Emmy Award winner and O's Creative Director, Adam Glassman.  Then stop in The Shops on deck 3 after the show to pick up some of the amazing pieces showcased on the runway).

The nightly saying was:
"with every experience, you alone are painting your own canvas, thought by thought, choice by choice."
